Aloe Juice Mocktails ~ Feeling Festive Daily!

I’m feeling delighted as I sip an aloe juice mocktail!  I like to feel celebratory, even while just making dinner on an ordinary night. It’s a way to make the daily must-dos, like making my family dinner, a little more exciting.


I can’t justify alcohol for myself on a daily basis. I do enjoy sipping a hard cider or a hibiscus & vanilla infused vodka every once in a while, but I’m aware of the way alcohol compromises my endocrine system, brain function, and immune response, so I just can’t enjoy a drink that often. BUT I want to feel festive and make myself something fun to drink to toast the little successes we accomplish daily.


Introducing Aloe juice mocktails!


They are super easy to make, DELICIOUS, and deliver powerful nutrients to your system.
I want the foods and beverages I consume to contribute to my health, I want them to add, not subtract. I’m conscious of this with every dietary choice I make, and this pays off for me in spades. The once-in-a-while choices don’t do harm when the every day choices add value to my health.

Aloe juice is a star superfood. It has many benefits for the body. If you tried it years ago and didn’t like it, try it again! You may find you love it now, that happened to me!


Immune Support
Aloe vera juice supports a healthy immune system because it has a rich diversity of vitamins and minerals. It aids in liver function and detoxifying the body. It has uronic acid compounds which is known to eliminate toxins within the cells.
Muscle and Joint Support
Drinking aloe vera juice has an anti-inflammatory response in the body, helping all of our muscles and joints repair faster and regenerate healthfully.
Balances Blood Sugar
Aloe vera juice possesses the remarkable ability to reduce the glucose levels in the blood, it has found extensive use in diabetes treatment. Aloe helps stabilize blood sugar levels and can also help in reduction of triglycerides.
Gastrointestinal Support
Aloe vera juice stimulates of production of bile in the gallbladder. This helps in the breakdown of fats in the body that contribute to constipation. It also lubricates the digestive tract, when taken regularly this could be a key factor in preventing colon cancer.
Anti-Cancer Properties
There is a phytonutrient present in aloe vera, which has played a significant role in shrinking cancer tumors. Aloe vera contains bioactive compounds like aloin, lectin, and aloesin which have shown anti-proliferative effects. It can also reduce metastases which can ultimately prevent cancer proliferation.  Aloe vera juice is also found to reduce the damage done to the body due to radiation therapy. Aloe vera can also amplify the effects of other anticancer herbs which may be used. It’s a brilliant plant!
Oral Hygiene
Aloe vera juice delivers nutrients directly to our gums while cleaning our entire mouth. Gargle with it, swish it all around your mouth, and swallow. It will make you feel like whistling.


Mark Waldman, one of my favorite neuro scientists, guides us to savor the things we enjoy and accomplish throughout the day. He says that savoring the little accomplishments and the little pleasures of life actually build the networks in our brain that make it easier and more natural to FEEL accomplished and happy. Taking a few minutes to make myself a nourishing aloe drink is something I can savor, therefore building the pleasure and power centers of my brain…and also giving my body a superfood supplement.


Aloe Juice Mocktail Recipes


Simply Lime
Aloe Juice
juice of 1 lime
Muddled Berries & Aloe
1/4 cup blackberries (any berry) muddled in the bottom of the glass
2 slices lime, muddled with the berries in the bottom of the glass
aloe juice
Cucumber Ginger  Aloetini
1/2 cucumber through a press juicer
1 inch ginger through a press juicer
Combine freshly pressed cucumber and ginger juice with aloe and ice.
Garnish as desired
Delicious, and powerfully nutritious.

Chia, Almonds, and Peas Walked Into a Smoothie…


Hope this finds you enjoying your day.  I love the crispness in the air this time of year.
Just wanted to send you a quick green juice inspiration.
My new favorite green juice
Place in blender:
2 cups spinach
1/2 cucumber
1 apple
1 lemon, peeled
2 Tbsp chia seeds
2 Tbsp almonds
2 Tbsp peas (frozen organic peas are fine)
2 inch slice of ginger root
5-6 cups water
Blend and enjoy.
This gives you ample protein and sustenance to keep you satisfied for hours. Plus oodles of phytonutrients to combat all the little buggers that come in this time of year.  Ginger is one of the tastiest blood purifiers this great earth has blessed us with.
Drinking this raw, nutrient rich beverage feeds you on a cellular level very quickly because the nutrients are already in a bioavailable form, not needing the processing of digestion to bring them into assimilation.  Therefore it requires much less of your energy to turn this food into direct power.

The greatest gift we have is total control over how we allow ourselves to feel. Although I know this is a practiced skill, and not always forthright. It comes with diligence, but the practice is fun.
Practicing our supremacy of consciousness is what we are here to do, for through this all of our heart’s desires are possible, and probable.

Total Self Abandonment Is The Secret

Total self abandonment is the secret.
I know it sounds strange at first, but hear what I mean.
We must abandon the state we are in to acquire a new state.
We must abandon the state of disease to create or allow the state of health.
We must abandon fear to allow faith.
We must abandon lack to allow plenty.
We must abandon loneliness to allow fulfillment.
By abandon, I simply mean let go, or forgive the state. Simply forgive it. Pay no mind to it. Deny the senses, and ONLY inhabit the ideal that we practiced in last week’s audio training.

My Spice Mylk Recipe, Your anti-inflammatory, mood boosting, immune boosting, digestive aid that tastes amazing.

It’s that wonderful time of year when these brilliant spices get to take the stage a bit, although all year long they powerfully benefit your health.
I recently took a spice class to get inspired and ignited by the amazing benefits of herbs and spices. I am continuously in awe of the variety of tastes, aromas, and healing properties found in the plant kingdom. I mean clove, come on, how crazy is clove, and nutmeg, and cinnamon. ~ And they are medicine.
These are some of the stars in the Spice Mylk recipe I created.
You may be familiar with Golden Milk, an indian healing tradition of turmeric, milk and honey.
This Spice Mylk takes it to the next level with the addition of ground clove, cinnamon, ginger and fresh ground nutmeg. All with their intense regulating capabilities in your body.
This warm tasty beverage is anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-bacteria, aids in digestion, relieves depression, balances blood sugar, balances blood pressure, boosts your immune system, detoxifies your body, elevates your mood, and is an aphrodisiac to boot! And it’s tasty! Can I get a ‘woot woot’ for plants,  this is a TREMENDOUS treat for the body.
Make it a daily ritual and see yourself evolve into an ever purer version of you.
Spice Mylk Batch Recipe
Combine the following to make a batch of tea for the week.
Use only 1 Tsp for each cup you make.
Combine with hot water and almond milk
2 Tbsp ground clove
2 Tbsp ground ginger
1 Tbsp ground turmeric
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1 nutmeg bulb (freshly ground), or 1/2 Tbsp ground nutmeg
Mix together
Add 1 tsp Spice Mylk mixture to 1 1/2 cups boiling water, then add about 1/2 cup almond milk and 4 drops liquid stevia or honey.
It will be at the perfect temperature to drink after adding the cold almond milk.
